GrowByData is looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle activities to include, requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali.
- Experience with data research, or a minimum of 1 year of experience with spreadsheet tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques a plus.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tool at Intermediate level.
- Skills in SQL would be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Python is preferable.
- Willing to work off-hours, experience communicating with international clients preferred
- Knowledge of the e-commerce domain in Amazon and Google Shopping.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems including writing scripts, web scraping.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Should gather and process both structured and unstructured data in a way that is useful for analysis
- Should provide database support and write SQL queries, and create reports in collaboration with other systems engineers and software developers
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Deliver to and communicate with team members and client on/offshore effectively, regularly, and professionally
- Complete assigned projects and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner
- Communicate proactively with team members, leads, management, and clients where necessary
- Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal
Education: Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Management with Mathematics, Economics or Statistics.
Experience: Prior 2 years and above experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable.
