Role Description

As a Data Quality Analyst Intern, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data used and presented in Looker Studio. This internship offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining high data standards and delivering quality insights to clients and stakeholders. Aspiring candidates for this position are required to commit to a duration of six months or longer, dedicating a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling. Our office, situated in Lexington, MA(Boston), ideally expects the intern to be present at least once a week, facilitating direct collaboration with our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate data sets, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and engineers onshore and offshore to identify and resolve data quality issues.
  • Develop and implement data quality metrics and validation rules.
  • Assist in the creation of data dashboards and reports in Google Data Studio.
  • Conduct data audits and generate quality reports for internal review.
  • Provide recommendations for improving data quality and reporting processes.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to data governance initiatives.
  • Assist in training and documentation efforts related to data quality best practices.

Qualification

  • Preferably a master’s degree in digital marketing, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of data quality principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
