GrowByData is looking for a passionate Data Analyst to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The Data Analyst will be responsible for conducting full life-cycle activities to include, requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English and Nepali
- Experience in data analysis
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept in SQL and databases
- Knowledge of Programming language like Python is Preferable
- Knowledge of ecommerce platform like Magento, Shopify or others will be is an added value
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Willing to work in second shift, experience communicating with international clients preferred
Responsibilities
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems including writing scripts, web scraping.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Should gather and process both structured and unstructured data in a way that is useful for analysis.
- Should provide database support and write SQL queries, and create reports in collaboration with other systems engineers and software developers.
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Deliver to and communicate with team members and client on/offshore effectively, regularly, and professionally
- Complete assigned projects and initiatives in a timely and efficient manner
Education: Bachelor in Computer Engineering / Sciences or equivalent.Experience: Prior 2.5 years and above experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable.
