REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer with a focus on PHP and WordPress development, with a strong background in SEO.
- Experience with Analytics code like: Google tag manager, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Pixel, Bing, etc. would be preferred.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies, with good knowledge of both Frontend and Backend concepts.
- Extensive experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and APIs.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, technical SEO, and keyword research.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., Laravel, React, etc.) is a plus.
- Must have knowledge in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience of working on other E-Commerce platforms (such as Yahoo, Big Commerce, 3D Cart, Shopify, Magento) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and follow the organization standard.
- Must be passionate about learning new technology and be self-motivated / self-driven to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively / Must be a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP and WordPress.
- Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in adherence to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Implement on-page and technical SEO strategies to improve website performance and search engine rankings.
- Implement Analytics tools to monitor and analyze website traffic and user behavior.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement recommendations for improved site performance.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in SEO, PHP, and WordPress development.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Implementing quick services as well as bug fixing/maintenance requirements of clients
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Should handle regular client communication.
- Communicate proactively, positively and effectively with team members, leads, management, and clients.
- Understand existing support practices and assist the team.
EDUCATION: B.E Computer Science, B.I.T, BSc.CSIT, BIM
EXPERIENCE: Must have 4+ years of experience as Software Engineer
