GrowByData conducted a geo-based market scan, identifying nine regions where the retailer faced a competitive disadvantage. The agency used these insights to highlight performance gaps in their sales pitch.

The analysis revealed visibility weaknesses in key categories, including Beer, Vodka, Brandy, Champagne, and Scotch. In Virginia, nine product categories had zero visibility, while five others ranked below the fold. The Scotch category had no ad impressions in most markets. Despite a strong store presence in Florida, the retailer had a low Share of Voice, whereas Massachusetts showed the highest Share of Voice, despite having fewer physical locations.
