GrowByData is looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our Team. The right candidates will learn new and developing technologies while supporting our existing Team and will look forward to building a long career with our growing, exciting global company.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good communication skills in English; both Spoken and Written.
- Skills in PHP and familiar with CMS such as WordPress and Magento would be preferable.
- Must have skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (like jQuery, Regular Expression, Ajax)
- Knowledge in MySQL databases.
- Knowledge in tracking codes like google analytics, google Adwords, Facebook pixel and Bing would be plus.
- Prior knowledge in ecommerce platforms (such as Big commerce, 3D Cart, Shopify, Magento) would be plus.
- Knowledge in GIT/SVN version control system.
- Passionate about learning new technology and self-motivated / Self-driven to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively / Must be a team player.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- SEO implementation (like 301 redirects, canonical, noindex, content implementation, Ads/remarketing tracking code)
- Integrating new features and themes on existing eCommerce platforms
- Bug fixing/maintenance tasks on various eCommerce platforms
- Excel under tight deadlines, and proactively communicate with team members and managers
- Reporting the status of assigned tasks
- Assist in creating a friendly, entrepreneurial and A+ corporate culture in Nepal
EDUCATION: Minimum B.E Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent
EXPERIENCE: Prior one- year experience in a relevant field would be preferred and favorable
